Application Description For Possible Process Locomotive:

 

In the box below please explain as much as possible about the application and explain what information or type response that your are requesting.  If you have a specification package and/or drawings please state that in your description.  We will call you or email you to give you information on where to send the bid package.  Please remember that CLC locomotives are limited to operating on US Standard Gage Track (56-1/2 inches) and that all documentation is in English.  It is the purchaser's responsibility to provide for any language translations that the purchaser may want.

 

Please include as much of the following information as possible:

 

 01. Where is the location of the job site where the locomotive/s will be used?

 02. Plan and profile of track system as well as weight and clearance limitations

 03. How may locomotives are needed?

 04. How will the locomotive/s be used? Please provide details. 

 05. How many railcars are to be moved in one string? (loaded and empty)

 06. Is radio remote control applicable?

 07. What is the proposed locomotive crew size?

 08. How many hours per day will the locomotive be required to operate?

 09. What type of on site maintenance personnel and facilities are available?

 10. Will the locomotive/s be FRA regulated or regulated by another agency?

 11. Will other than standard type E couplers be required?

 12. What rail speed is required and what is the top speed limit?

 13. What features are requested, either from the features page, or others that you may 

        want, that are not listed on the features page?

 14. Will this be a purchase, long term lease, or other arrangement?

 15. Does the site currently have any locomotives, mobile railcar movers, etc.? 

       If the answer is yes, then please list type, model, and number of units?

 16. What is the time frame for your project? ( planning, ordering, delivery, startup)

 17. Is FRA, MSHA, or OSHA certified engineer or brakeman training required?

 18. What warranties are required?
